A much needed update!

I finally figured out how to upload pictures to my blog again! Blogger is still acting a little weird with me uploading pictures but at least it will put some pictures up. Sorry I have been MIA on this blog! The last 8 weeks have been ridiculously busy. This semester my nursing class has been split up into two rotations. Last week, I finished up my Medical Surgical rotation...somehow surviving and passing with a B. I was really worried throughout the whole rotation because I did awful on the first exam, which meant that I had to fight to keep my test scores above average for the rest of the rotation. The Lord blessed me beyond measure and I passed the rotation. There is absolutely no way that I did it all by myself. I am especially grateful for Priesthood blessings and the fact that I live among so many worthy Priesthood holders. It is so nice to be able to pick up my phone and have a long list of contacts that I can call if I need a Priesthood blessing. This week I started the Mental Health rotation which is supposedly easier than the last rotation. I'm not letting up though because I don't want to get behind at all.

Conveniently enough, I was able to successfully complete the Med-Surg rotation and go home for a few days this last weekend. It was so nice to have a little break from school and spend some time with my family. I didn't take any homework with me and I did my best to just enjoy time with my siblings. My real reason for going home this past weekend was to go to an Idaho Steelheads game with Paden. (Paden is the wonderful guy that I have been spending all of my free time with recently:) It was a great game to watch-the score was close the whole time and the game ended with a shoot out. Even though the Steelheads didn't win, it was still fun!

Anyways, I am back and hopefully will be much better about keeping my blog updated...no promises, but I will try!

Picture #3 & 4: After our last Med-Surg exam on Friday, I celebrated with a few of my best friends from the RN program. I love these girls and I honestly have no idea what I would do without them!!! They have helped me so much and I am grateful for good friends. :)
